This is a potential Temp-to-Perm role, starting ASAP at a Secondary SEND school in Bury. Role: Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant at a SEND school in Bury.Start date: ASAP.Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.Contract: Temp-to-Perm potential to move onto contract at school.Excellent pay: £(Apply online only)/day DOE for first 12 weeks paid PAYE direct via Cover People. What you ll do Supporting a range of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and Communication Needs.You will need to look out for triggers and employ preventative strategies and de-escalation techniques to help manage their behaviour so that pupils can focus on learning and the teacher can focus on delivery.Tailored support in lessons, breaking down instructions and tasks so they are easily understood and the pupil feels they are achievable.At times you may be required to support the rest of the class or others.Providing lots of encouragement and positive reinforcement.Working closely with the teacher, management, support staff, parents and outside professionals.Contribute to a safe, positive, inclusive and collaborative work environment.
