Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Rate: GBP140 - GBP220 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
About the School:
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are working in partnership with a fantastic specialist primary school in Harrogate, supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including autism and physical or sensory impairments.

As a SEND Teacher, you will become part of a supportive and experienced team focused on delivering high-quality, child-centred education tailored to individual needs.
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to primary-aged pupils.
- Plan and differentiate engaging lessons aligned with EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure a consistent and holistic approach.
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
What Were Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience within an SEN setting or strong SEN knowledge in mainstream education.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour management.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of needs.
To be eligible, you must:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service, or be willing to obtain one.
- Provide two professional child-related references.
