These roles offer the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.
Roles andamp; Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social/emotional challenges
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Support pupils in both classroom and one-to-one settings
- Assist with personal care and mobility where required
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Relevant training or qualifications (desirable but not essential)
