Primary Teaching Assistant

EduTalent Group is recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD in a primary school in Horsham. This is a permanent role, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on a pupil s development and learning. Key responsibilities: Deliver personalised 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD Assist the teacher in planning and implementing lessons Promote communication, independence, and social skills Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Implement strategies provided by the SENCO and teaching team Requirements Experience supporting pupils with ASD Patience, empathy, and consistency Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Benefits Hourly rate: £13.75 £14.50 Permanent position in a supportive school Pension scheme and weekly pay Opportunities for training and professional development Inclusive and welcoming school environment ..... full job details .....
