The role is focused on building positive relationships, supporting behaviour and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.The RoleProvide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needsSupport pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagementBuild strong, trusting relationships and act as a positive role modelEncourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independenceSupport pupils to access learning and remain engaged in the classroomUse positive behaviour strategies and consistent boundariesWork closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the wider support teamHelp maintain a calm, safe and nurturing environmentThe Ideal CandidateExperience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needsExperience in a PRU, alternative provision, SEN school or challenging mainstream setting is desirableCalm, patient and resilientConfident managing challenging behaviourAble to build genuine and positive relationships with young peoplePassionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to educationA relevant TA qualification is desirable but not essentialInterested?Send your up-to-date CV to apply, or get in ..... full job details .....
