Secondary SEND Teacher(KS3)Islington Special Needs schoolPaid to scaleTemp to Perm contract A specialist SEND school for Secondary aged pupils with Complex Needs and PMLD are looking for a qualified and experienced SEND teacher to join them on a full-time contract basis for the academic year. The Role In this role you will teaching in key stage 3 pupils who are SLD, PMLD and/or Complex Needs learners. You will be supported by a team of experienced teaching assistants to deliver highly personalised teaching and learning, therapy programmes and personal care. You will have support from senior leadership and access to regular CPD training to support you to develop your practice with complex learners The school are looking for a SLD and PMLD Teacher with the following:Experience of PMLD / SLD /complex needsA creative and caring approachConfident working in of a large inter-disciplinary team alongside medical and therapy staffThe School This specialist Secondary school is for children aged 11to 19 with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASD) and complex medical needs.
