Screening Nurse (RGN)
Location: South Wales (multi-site travel required) Hours: Part-time, 4 days per week Contract: Permanent Remit: Mainly new recruit medicals Summary: OH Medical is working in partnership with an in-house Occupational Health service to recruit a Registered Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Occupational Health team delivering health surveillance, screening, vaccinations, and health promotion services within a structured and supportive environment. The role focuses on preventative occupational health, wellbeing initiatives, and compliance with statutory health surveillance requirements. It would suit a nurse who enjoys autonomy, variety, and proactive health promotion work. Duties: Deliver occupational health surveillance and screening in line with statutory requirements. Administer vaccinations including Hepatitis B and annual flu programmes. Undertake pre-employment health screening and medical assessments. Carry out audiometry, spirometry, blood tests and exposure-related surveillance. Support health promotion activities and wellbeing initiatives. Provide advice and guidance on health and fitness for work matters. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure equipment is appropriately maintained. Work collaboratively with the wider OH team to deliver a high-quality service. Criteria: Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration. Minimum 3 years post-registration experience.
