Sales Support

We are working with a growing global technology and engineering business that is looking for a Sales Support professional to join its team in Reading. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service, sales administration or order management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting both customers and sales teams. You will play an important role in managing customer enquiries, processing orders and providing day-to-day support to the sales function, helping to deliver an excellent customer experience and maximise sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming customer calls, emails and other enquiries. Respond quickly and professionally to customer queries and provide updates on orders. Manage incoming sales enquiries and progress opportunities through to order wherever possible. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Review pending orders and follow up on outstanding customer requirements. Manage customer accounts and provide administrative and troubleshooting support. Act as a key point of contact for Sales Managers and Key Account Managers. Proactively follow up with customers regarding repeat orders and ongoing projects. Maintain accurate customer and project information. Provide accurate sales/project forecasts based on available information. Provide general administrative support to the wider sales team.
