Circa £75,000 - £85,000 basic OTE £110,000 - £120,000 + Car/Car Allowance, Commission and BenefitsMonday to Friday 37.5 hours per weekWe are seeking a Sales Director who can deliver, drive, and cultivate a high performing inhouse sales team. Is this you?Our client is actively recruiting for a newly created role of Sales Director, reporting directly to board level, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, delivering the revenue growth, managing the sales team, igniting the team by providing ongoing training, guidance, and support, whilst still leading from the front.This is a pivotal position with full responsibility for the roll out and delivery of the strategy and revenue growth across the whole sales team, empowering your team to assist throughout this journey. Subject to performance, this role may lead to appointment to the full board and eligibility for share options.Duties
Strategic Planning
— Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives; ensuring the systems, processes and the customer flowchart journey is in placeTeam Management
— Manage a team of internal sales representatives, providing guidance, ongoing training and support, to ensure they have the tools to hit the set targetsSales Performance Management
— Monitor sales metrics and individual/team performances and analyse data to identify areas of improvement; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies; Prepare sales forecasts, pipelines and manage budgets, tracking performance against targetsClient Relationship Building
— Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partnersMaintain Market Knowledge
— Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditionsExperience required
Proven experience as a Sales Director or within a similar roleExperience within the Fenestration Products Industry or similar experience within tradesStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamThe ability to bring new ideas and changeLead from the frontExcellent communication and negotiation skillsDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationshipsDemonstrate ability to increase revenue growthSolid background of rolling out sales strategiesProficient in using CRM software and other sales toolsTime management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyAdditional Benefits
