About the Role

A Sales Coordinator is required for the windows division of a multinational plastics manufacturer, based at their office in Irlam, near Manchester. This full-time, permanent role involves serving as the primary contact for customer order processing and enquiries. The position requires liaising between customers, manufacturing plants, and warehouses to guarantee timely deliveries. Responsibilities include maintaining high customer care standards, providing administrative support to the sales team, and collaborating with Credit Control to manage accounts. Candidates should possess proven telephone techniques for developing relationships with new and existing clients, alongside experience processing customer claims. An excellent salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits, is offered.

Sales Coordinator sought by the windows division of a £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide, to join their office near Manchester.
Your Role:
As a Sales Coordinator within the windows division, your duties will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for customers for order processing and dealing with enquiries
  • Liaising with customers along with the manufacturing plants and warehouses to ensure products are delivered as and when required
  • Ensuring the right level of customer care standards are met
  • Providing administrative support to the sales team
  • Liaising with Credit Control to keep customer accounts up to date
  • Developing business relationships with both new and existing customers by phone using your proven telephone techniques
  • Processing customer claims
  • Supporting the windows Division’s sales strategy
  • General administration
 
As a Sales Coordinator you’ll have the following experience:
  • Previous experience in a sales coordinator/sales support or similar role
  • Good telephone manner with ability to build rapport quickly and easily
  • Computer literate with excellent communication skills, hardworking and conscientious
  • Confident supporting both customers and external sales team
  • Knowledge of construction industry products is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Good standard of education
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team within a busy customer-orientated sales office
