JOB TITLE: Residential Property Lawyer

THE ROLE:
• Join a highly regarded, well established law firm located in Manchester, seeking to welcome a Residential Property Lawyer to its thriving Real Estate team.
• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion and advise a diverse client base on a wealth of transactions such as freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build properties, auction transactions and bridging finance matters.
• Work autonomously on an independent caseload and simultaneously benefit from the support of an experienced Partner on more complex issues.
• Provide clear, commercially focused advise to ensure that legal matters progress efficiently and to the highest professional standard.
THE CANDIDATE:
• Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Chartered Legal Executives with 2 years' PQE or equivalent experience who can demonstrate a proven track record of independently managing a full residential conveyancing caseload.
• Experience handling freehold and leasehold transactions is essential to the application process.
• Additionally, knowledge of the Building Safety Act is considered highly advantageous to prospective candidates.
• Experience using case management systems and mentoring or supporting junior colleagues would also be beneficial.
• You will possess excellent technical ability, strong organisational and communication skills and demonstrate proactive, client focused approach.
