This is an excellent opportunity to encourage critical thinking, cultural understanding, and respectful discussion among students.As an RE Teacher, you will:Deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.Encourage students to explore a range of religious, ethical, and philosophical topics.Promote discussion, debate, and independent thinking.Develop lesson plans that inspire curiosity and understanding.Track student achievement and provide meaningful feedback.Support whole-school values and inclusion initiatives.Participate in departmental and extracurricular activities. RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification.Proven experience of teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting.Sound knowledge of world religions, ethics and philosophy.Excellent communication skills and effective classroom management.A genuine enthusiasm for fostering respectful discussion and critical thinking.A strong commitment to improving student achievement.An Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
