Registered Care Manager – Adult Services
Location: Harrogate
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000
Are you an experienced care leader with a passion for supporting adults with complex needs? We are seeking a Registered Care Manager to oversee a warm and supportive service in Harrogate.
The home provides high-quality care for up to 8 individuals with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, schizophrenia, and mental health needs. We pride ourselves on creating a family-oriented, homely environment where every person is valued and supported to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff, ensuring they are well supported and motivated.
Oversee person-centred support plans that are dynamic, aspirational, and regularly reviewed.
Ensure the home is safe, nurturing, and geared towards the personal development of all service users.
Take responsibility for safeguarding, risk management, and health & safety practices.
Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Manage budgets, resources, and administrative systems effectively.
Support recruitment, training, and staff development to build a strong and committed team.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced at management level within adult social care.
Skilled in supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and challenging behaviours.
Calm under pressure, confident, and resilient.
An excellent communicator with strong leadership abilities.
Passionate about delivering outstanding care and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and best practice in adult social care.
