You will support the commercial management of planned investment and construction projects across its housing portfolio, helping to maintain financial control, administer contracts and deliver value for money.This opportunity may suit a Quantity Surveyor working for a housing provider, construction contractor or consultancy. Direct social housing experience is desirable, but candidates with relevant construction and planned works experience are encouraged to apply.Key responsibilities Administer contracts, including applications for payment, valuations, variations, certification and final accounts. Support procurement and tendering through the preparation and review of work scopes, tender documents and pricing schedules. Monitor project budgets, cashflow, completions, contractor performance and commercial outcomes. Visit sites regularly to assess work in progress and its commercial impact. Identify commercial and operational risks, report concerns and help develop practical solutions. Attend pre-start, progress, partnership and commercial meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders.
