Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established building and refurbishment contractor who delivers a range of projects locally to Bristol.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including dilapidations, commercial refurbishments, industrial developments, and office fit-outs, with project values ranging from 500k to 3m.The RoleAs Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance is maximised whilst maintaining strong client relationships.Key responsibilities will include:Managing project costs and budgetsProcurement and subcontractor managementPreparing and submitting valuationsVariations and change managementCost reporting and forecastingContract administrationNegotiating and agreeing final accountsSupporting project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycleBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, fit-out or refurbishment sectorsExperience delivering projects valued between 500k and 3mStrong understanding of commercial contracts and construction processesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent negotiation and communication skillsA proactive and ..... full job details .....
