Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Bath, SomersetSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established Building team delivering a varied portfolio of projects across Bath, Somerset and the surrounding areas.You will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects typically ranging from 500k to 5m, covering sectors including healthcare, education, refurbishment, fit-out and occupied buildings.This is an ideal role for a commercially focused QS who enjoys working closely with operational teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors and wants genuine responsibility from procurement through to final account.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial delivery of multiple building projectsLead subcontractor procurement and commercial managementPrepare valuations, applications, forecasts and CVRsMonitor project costs, budgets and financial performanceManage variations, claims and commercial risksNegotiate subcontractor and client accountsLead final account preparation and settlementIdentify cost-saving and value engineering opportunitiesWork closely with Project Managers and site teamsProvide guidance and support to junior commercial staffThe Ideal CandidateExperienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity SurveyorBackground within main contracting or buildingExperience managing projects valued between 500k and 10mStrong commercial and contractual knowledgeExperience across ..... full job details .....
