Quantity SurveyorGlasgow First People Solutions are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly respected contractor based in the Glasgow area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work across civil engineering projects throughout Scotland. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced commercial team, supporting the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account while continuing to develop their career. Key Responsibilities:Assisting with the commercial management with a range of projectsPreparing valuations, applications for payment and final accountsManaging subcontractor procurement, payments and accountsProducing cost reports and assisting with forecastingIdentifying commercial risks and opportunitiesSupporting operational teams throughout project deliveryBuilding and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships Requirements:2-6 years'' experience within a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within civil engineering or infrastructure projectsDegree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related disciplinePrevious experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projectsStrong commercial awareness and a willingness to developExcellent communication and organisational skillsFull UK driving licence What''s on Offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageLong-term secured workOpportunity to ..... full job details .....
