Managing Quantity Surveyor - Glasgow £85,000 - £100,000 + Car/Car Allowance Major Infrastructure Heavy CivilsAn established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Glasgow.The business delivers complex infrastructure projects across Scotland and has a strong pipeline of work across heavy civil engineering, utilities and energy infrastructure.This is a senior commercial position offering responsibility for the delivery of major projects from contract award through to final account, while also supporting the wider commercial team.The roleAs Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial performance of a portfolio of infrastructure projects, working closely with project, operational and senior management teams.Responsibilities will include: Leading the commercial management of major civil engineering projectsManaging projects throughout the full commercial life cycleContract administration across a range of standard forms of contractManaging applications, valuations, variations and changeCost reporting, forecasting and commercial performance managementSubcontract procurement and managementManaging commercial risk and identifying opportunitiesSupporting contractual correspondence and project governancManaging final accountsSupporting and mentoring members of the commercial teamBuilding strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders What we are ..... full job details .....
