Senior Quantity Surveyor Glasgow Location: Glasgow / Stepps Hybrid Working Job Type: Permanent Sector: Water / Utilities / Civil Engineering / MEICA We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team of a major design and build contractor delivering significant projects across the UK water sector. Based from the Glasgow area with hybrid working available, you will take commercial responsibility for projects and work packages, working alongside experienced engineering, construction and commercial teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience across water, utilities, civil engineering or MEICA projects, particularly those with a strong understanding of NEC contracts. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, responsibilities as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will include: Commercial management of projects and individual work packages Liaising with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control project costs Working collaboratively with the client to ensure commercial and business requirements are achieved Managing the main contract and ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation Assisting with subcontractor management and performance Managing applications for payment Preparing project cost and value reports Producing budgets and forecasts Supporting the management and development of junior commercial ..... full job details .....
