Quality Technician

TXM Recruit are working as the recruitment partner for an established engineering and manufacturing business, supporting them in the appointment of a Quality Technician to join their QSHE team in Saffron Walden.This is a hands-on quality role within a technical manufacturing environment, working closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory and company requirements.The RoleAs a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for supporting inspection, testing and quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process. You will carry out inspections, measurements and testing, identify and manage non-conforming products, and provide accurate quality data to support investigations and continuous improvement.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment who enjoys hands-on quality activities and takes pride in maintaining high standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out incoming, in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet defined requirements.Verify products against engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions and inspection plans.Perform product testing and measurement activities using approved equipment and methods.Conduct first-off inspections, First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and verification checks.Identify, segregate and control non-conforming products in line with company procedures.Raise and manage ..... full job details .....
