Quality Technician

Quality Technician: Temporary, Immediate StartThe roleWe are looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join a regulated manufacturing site on a temporary basis. You will support the production teams by checking products, investigating problems and making sure everything is properly documented. The site works to strict medical quality standards, so accuracy matters.We need someone who can start straight away and get up to speed quickly.Main duties Helping to investigate quality issues on the production line and find solutionsCarrying out in-process and final product acceptance testingSpotting and recording product and process non-conformancesTaking part in material review meetings to deal with non-conformance reportsChecking device history records and supporting batch releaseEntering and retrieving quality data on company systemsCarrying out site calibration work and keeping accurate recordsCompleting environmental monitoring and keeping accurate recordsChecking calculations and special instructions before products are processed and releasedMaking decisions on whether raw materials, work in progress and finished products are acceptable What we are looking for Strong experience in a manufacturing, repair or technical production environment or some experience plus a relevant engineering or science qualification (for example an HNC, HND or foundation degree)Good maths skills, including ratios, proportions and basic algebraA methodical approach with a keen eye for ..... full job details .....
