Reed are currently seeking a skilled Inspector to join our In Clients team. In this role, you will verify the conformity of component parts and assemblies, ensuring that all products meet the required standards and specifications. You''ll work with a variety of precision measuring tools and play a key part in maintaining high-quality output. Key Responsibilities Inspect parts and assemblies using micrometers, verniers, Faro arms and other precision equipment. Verify machine tool set-ups through component inspection. Conduct batch sampling inspections in line with requirements. Carry out formal First Article Inspections (FAI). Perform component and assembly testing according to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP). Complete relevant non-conformance documentation where required. Support inspection activities at additional company sites as needed. Complete or authorise formal release certifications. Adhere to company policies, health and safety guidelines, and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment. Undertake any other reasonable and relevant tasks required by the business. Essential Skills and Experience Experience working within an engineering environment. Relevant experience in inspection activities. Ability to read engineering drawings (metric and imperial). Competent in using precision measuring equipment. Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
