Quality Inspector

Our manufacturing Client is seeking a Quality Inspector,ideally withelectronics manufacturing knowledge/experience. The role is offered as a permanent, full time position reporting to the Quality Manager.Salary: £26,788.88 pa + OT when required - weekly payLocation: near DartfordHours: 39 pw9am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 9am to 1pm FridayBenefits: 25 days leave + BH, uniform, pension etcThe Quality Inspector role will be responsible for inspecting key component groups before product is released from the production area; ensuring feedback for all non-conforming product is passed to the Production Supervisor and Operators.Quality Inspector Skills/experience required:Experience within electronic manufacturing environment preferred - PCBsUnderstanding of IPC-A-610 or qualification preferred.Able to identify components including resistor colour codes.General standard of education required.Quality Inspector MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform full visual inspection of key areas in conventional build before release from the area.To be aware of company health and safety requirements.To understand and implement necessary anti-static precautions.To be competent in the use of Inspection tools (magnifiers etc) for PCB manufacturing.To understand manufacturing documents and follow specific instructions.To understand IPC 610 standards with regard to conventional assembly.To highlight any build discrepancies to the Quality Department and Production Supervision.To ensure section area is ..... full job details .....
