Quality Engineer - Mansfield, Nottinghamshire £32-£42k + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday Hybrid Working Permanent A market-leading business is looking for a Quality Engineer to join a growing product team based near Mansfield. This is a hands-on quality role with genuine variety, sitting at the heart of how products are inspected, tested and signed off before they reach the shop floor. What the role involves You''ll be responsible for quality inspection and testing across a busy and varied product pipeline, checking finished articles against specification, conducting spot checks on ongoing supply and getting out to manufacturer sites to assess quality at source. Day to day you could be involved in: Inspecting products for quality of welding, paint finish, woodwork, fastenings and surface finish Building and running physical tests including topple testing, weight loading, push and pull Developing and documenting test methods in line with relevant British Standards Visiting manufacturers to check quality at source and provide direct feedback Supporting the team in building out quality processes within a young and growing department Managing multiple projects simultaneously across a busy and varied pipeline What we''re looking for You''ll need a practical, hands-on background with a good eye for product quality at finished article level.
