The Role
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the SENCO, pastoral team,  and class teachers to support children with additional needs. Your role will involve, working one-to-one with students with Autism and complex needs, and assisting in small group sessions to help children develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. You will play a key role in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment that enables all students to reach their full potential. This role has a strong focus on ensuring that children are nurtured and supported.
The Candidate
This role is ideal for a recent Psychology graduate who is considering a career in educational psychology, teaching, or child development. A strong understanding of child psychology, patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential. Prior experience working with children or supporting individuals with SEN is desirable but not required.
