The Role
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant your focus will be on providing 1-2-1 support for children with special educational needs. Your role will be to provide tailored support for children with additional learning needs including Autism, Aspergers’ MLD, and communication impairments. As part of the role, you may also be asked to provide whole class support and work closely with the teacher to deliver group activities. A keen interest in SEND and a positive approach are essential for this role.
The Candidate
This role requires a recent Psychology Graduate who is looking to gain additional experience working with children. A keen interest in special educational needs is essential for this role, and you will receive excellent training and support from the school. Ideally you will have previous experience working with young people, however that is not essential for a proactive an engaging graduate.
