Project Professional - Delivery

Our client, a leading organisation within the defence and security sector, is seeking a Project Professional to support project delivery activities in Barrow. This six-month contract role will involve operating project management processes, supporting senior project staff and independently managing routine activities within a full-time, on-site environment.

• Operating one or more project management processes across assigned project activities
• Supporting senior project professionals on larger or more complex projects
• Managing routine project management tasks independently and escalating complex issues where appropriate
• Applying project management practices, procedures and controls in line with established guidance
• Maintaining accurate project records, documentation and progress information
• Supporting project delivery through effective coordination, monitoring and communication
• Working collaboratively with project teams and relevant stakeholders

• Experience working as a Project Professional within a project delivery environment
• Knowledge of project management processes and practices
• Ability to work independently on routine activities while following guidance for more complex tasks
• Excellent organisation, communication and administrative skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project information
• Ability to work full time on site in Barrow
• Experience within the defence and security sector or a closely related industry would be advantageous
