Project Manager Location: Whiteley, Hampshire (2-3 days per week onsite) Duration: 6 months Rate: Up to 550/day (Umbrella) IR35: Inside IR35 Clearance: BPSS to start (SC required for the role)OverviewA leading organisation within the Defence and Security sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex IT infrastructure projects within a critical national infrastructure environment. This contract role will involve leading multidisciplinary teams, managing project governance and ensuring successful delivery to time, cost and quality requirements.Responsibilities:Plan, budget, manage, report on and deliver allocated IT infrastructure projects into service. Develop and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, budgets, resource requirements and delivery milestones. Lead virtual and multidisciplinary teams through matrix management, including Work Package Managers and Project Delivery Team members. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation actions in line with appropriate governance processes. Ensure projects comply with relevant regulatory, safety, environmental, health and security requirements. Manage suppliers, contracts and project deliverables in collaboration with Commercial, Supply Chain and Legal teams. Build effective relationships with customers, suppliers, regulators, internal stakeholders and senior leadership teams.
