Order Processor – uPVC Windows & Doors | Business Micros | Window Designer

We are recruiting for an experienced Order Processor to join a successful and expanding uPVC windows and doors manufacturer based in Gravesend, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Window & Door Order Processor, Technical Order Processor, Sales Order Processor or Fenestration Order Processor with previous experience using Business Micros, Window Designer, Evolution or similar fenestration software.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of uPVC windows and doors, technical specifications, manufacturing processes and survey information, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately from quotation through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders using Business Micros and Window Designer software.

• Produce accurate manufacturing orders for uPVC windows, doors, composite doors, French doors, bi-fold doors and aluminium products.

• Interpret technical drawings, survey sheets and customer specifications.

• Check dimensions, glazing specifications, hardware and product configurations.

• Review survey information and resolve discrepancies before production.

• Process amendments and revisions following survey or customer changes.

• Liaise with customers, surveyors, sales and production teams to resolve technical queries.

• Ensure all orders meet manufacturing specifications and quality standards.

• Support production with technical and order-related queries.

• Maintain accurate order records using Business Micros and internal systems.

• Coordinate with purchasing and production to meet manufacturing deadlines.

• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the order process.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as an Order Processor, Technical Order Processor or Sales Order Processor within the window and door industry.

• Proven experience using Business Micros and Window Designer software.

• Strong knowledge of uPVC windows, doors and aluminium glazing systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and survey information.

• Good understanding of window and door manufacturing processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication skills with customers and internal departments.

• Competent using Microsoft Office.

• Ability to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
