This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous packaging, despatch or stores experience who enjoys working within a varied, hands-on manufacturing environment.The business manufactures high-quality aerospace components and is looking for someone to support its packaging, despatch and general production operations.This role would suit an existing Storesperson, Despatch Operative or Production Operative who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and is looking to work within a clean, tidy and professional manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHand package small, high-quality aerospace components ready to be sent for external treatments, including paint, or for final delivery.Prepare components and goods for despatch, ensuring they are packaged correctly and handled with care.Organise transport using internal drivers, TNT and external courier services.Carry out local driving duties for the delivery and collection of goods.Support basic operational requirements, including basic sheet metal and assembly activities.Carry out ad-hoc forklift duties as required to support other members of staff.Provide general production and handyman support across the ..... full job details .....
