Chemical Production Support OperatorWiganMonday to Thursday 6am - 6pm£35,000My client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Chemical Process Support Operator to join their team. The Role: To support the safe and efficient operation of the Production Department by ensuring raw materials, intermediates and finished products are available where required, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, operating the filtration press process, and assisting production teams to maximise plant efficiency.The Production Support Operator will play a key role in reducing downtime by coordinating material movements, managing the heating plan, operating the filtration press, and ensuring production areas remain organised, compliant and ready for manufacture. Responsibilities: Production Support- Operate the filtration press in accordance with approved manufacturing instructions and safe systems of work.- Transfer product from holding tank to the filtration press and monitor the filtration process.- Complete filtration records and report any deviations immediately.- Assist Production Operators during busy periods to maintain production schedules.- Ensure production vessels receive the correct raw materials and packaging in a timely manner.- Prepare work areas to minimise delays between batches.Material Handling- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.- Transport raw materials, intermediates and finished goods between storage locations and ..... full job details .....
