This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous labouring, handyman or general facilities experience who enjoys working within a professional manufacturing environment.The business manufactures high-quality aerospace components and is looking for someone to support the day-to-day upkeep of its manufacturing facility, ensuring the shop floor and surrounding areas remain clean, tidy and well maintained.This role would suit an experienced Labourer, Handyman or Production Support Operative who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation and is happy to undertake a varied range of practical duties.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain high standards of general shop floor tidiness, including sweeping, mopping and emptying bins.Carry out general housekeeping duties across the manufacturing facility.Dispose of swarf and scrap metal safely from the factory into designated skips.Carry out general DIY, maintenance and handyman-type tasks as required.Complete basic gardening and external maintenance duties, including perimeter weeding.Provide ad-hoc forklift support as cover for other members of staff when required.Carry out occasional driving duties to support the ..... full job details .....
