Private Funds Counsel - Elite Law Firm (Cravath Scale)

Our Client

Our client, an elite US Law Firm, seeks an experienced Lawyer to join their highly ranked and expert practice.

The Role

Manage relationships with fund investors, addressing investor inquiries, concerns, and requests, and providing counsel on matters related to fund operations.

Develop and deliver a business plan for the growth of the UK Fund practice.

Have management responsibility. Lead in structuring, forming, and documenting private equity funds, including

drafting and negotiating fund documents, partnership agreements, and subscription agreements.

Ensure that private equity funds comply with all relevant laws and regulations, and stay up to date with evolving legal requirements affecting the industry.

Engage with existing clients of the firm to ensure they are fully supported.

Requirements

Extensive fund formation experience from a leading law firm.

Experience managing Lawyers, Paralegal resources etc.

Able to handle a fast-paced and challenging environment

Strong communication and relationship building ability.

Have experience of managing a profitable fund practice

Track record of winning instructions from targets

Confident presenting/pitching
