A leading fire engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal Fire Engineer to their expanding Glasgow team. This position offers an experienced Principal Fire Engineer the opportunity to lead technically complex projects, manage key client relationships and play an important role in the development of the regional fire engineering offering.The Principal Fire Engineer''s RoleThe Principal Fire Engineer will take responsibility for major fire engineering commissions across residential, commercial, healthcare, education, infrastructure and large mixed-use schemes.The Principal Fire Engineer will lead the development of performance-based fire strategies, provide high-level technical guidance and oversee projects from early design through construction and completion.The role will include reviewing complex fire engineering solutions, managing project teams, undertaking technical peer reviews and liaising with clients, architects, contractors and regulatory authorities.The Principal Fire Engineer will also mentor engineers, support business development and contribute to the technical direction of the wider team.The Principal Fire EngineerThe successful Principal Fire Engineer will ideally have:A degree in Fire Engineering or a closely related disciplineExtensive UK fire engineering consultancy experienceStrong knowledge of Building Regulations, fire safety legislation and British StandardsExperience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teamsChartered Engineer ..... full job details .....
