Supply Desk are proud to support a multi academy school who are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to start after the Christmas break. This is a 2 form entry central school who have a community ethos and need an inclusive and adaptable teacher. andnbsp;

About the School: The school, is located in central Southampton with excellent transport links. The school is part of a trust and therefore has excellent support from surrounding schools and an active and welcoming SLT.

Job Description: andnbsp;As a full time KS1 teacher you will plan, mark and assess to ensure that children meet their National Curriculum Objectives while fostering a love of learning. You should have a good knowledge of phonics as you will also be responsible for children taking part in their National Phonic Assessments. andnbsp;You may be an ECT or an experienced teacher who is looking for a new role and understands that having high expectations, consistency and rigor is key to a successful classroom

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience of teaching with Interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students and a genuine passion for teaching and lifelong learning.
