TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic Primary School Teachers for flexible supply work across Newark. We work with a number of welcoming schools offering supportive teams and great facilities, giving you the opportunity to enjoy varied teaching experiences across the NG24 area.

Whether you’re looking for regular supply days or occasional work around your availability, we’d love to hear from you. Some bookings may also develop into longer-term placements.

The role will involve:

• Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Following school planning and adapting activities to pupil''s needs.
• Creating a nurturing classroom where children feel confident to participate.
• Maintaining positive behaviour and following school routines.
• Building strong relationships with pupils and staff.

The successful teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within primary schools.
• A sound understanding of the primary curriculum.
• A nurturing, caring approach and strong relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility and confidence adapting to different classrooms.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
