TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated KS2 Primary School Teacher to join a lovely primary school in Newark from the end of November. With great facilities and strong phonics provision, this welcoming school offers a fantastic environment for children to learn and flourish.

The school is looking for a teacher who combines high expectations with warmth and care, building pupil''s confidence and encouraging them to take pride in their achievements.

The role will involve:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Adapting teaching to meet different learning needs, including SEND.
• Assessing progress and using feedback to support each pupil’s next steps.
• Creating a nurturing classroom with clear routines and positive behaviour.
• Working closely with colleagues and families to support pupils’ development.

The successful teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in KS2.
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• A nurturing, caring approach to teaching and pupil well-being.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• A commitment to inclusive teaching and helping every child succeed.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
