PRESS OPERATOR – METAL PRESSINGS
Location: Birmingham, B33
Rate: £12.21 per hour (overtime £16.28 per hour)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6.00am – 2.30pm, Friday 6.00am – 11.00am

 

About the Company
We’re a long-established Birmingham engineering company supplying pressed metal components, machined parts, tube manipulation, wire forms and welded assemblies to a range of industries.

 

The Role
We’re looking for a reliable Press Operator to join our production team. The role involves running press machines, carrying out basic checks and keeping work areas clean and safe.

 

Main Duties

• Operating press machinery and related equipment
• Loading material and removing finished parts
• Checking components for quality and accuracy
• Reporting any issues or defects to the supervisor or press setter
• Maintaining good housekeeping and following health & safety rules

 

What We’re Looking For

• Previous factory or machine operating experience preferred (training available)
• Good attention to detail
• A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance are essential
