PMO Analyst (Flexibility Market) to join our Portfolio Services team on permanent basis.Team Overview:The Elexon Portfolio Services Team provides two services. One service delivers Assurance and coaching on Delivery Best practice and our ways of working to directly support and maximise the value delivered to our customers, both internal and external. The second service delivers Portfolio mgmt capabilities in order to deliver the greatest value for customers whilst maintaining alignment to Elexon’s Strategy.Job Purpose:To facilitate the successful delivery of the Programme commitments through the adoption of Agile practices, working with third-party Scrum Masters, Delivery Managers and Programme Managers to facilitate the adoption of these practices whilst providing a comprehensive programme delivery support service to through the application of PMO Best Practices.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper use of Elexon’s Delivery methodology, standards, tools, processes and procedures by the ProgrammeSupport Programme and Delivery Managers on overall activities such as project planning and tracking, managing RAID logs, facilitating meetings and workshops, and preparing project reportsEnsure Product RAIDs are appropriately and regularly updated according to the standards set by ElexonRaise and question where risks, issues and dependencies are not being managedIdentify and manage risks, issues and dependencies and support the escalation of these where appropriateProvide timely and consistent communication to relevant stakeholders on progress, impacts and changes associated with the Programmes OutcomesBuild and track Programme reports, to manage dependencies, resource estimation and other critical Programme Assurance areasSupport the closure of individual sprints including facilitating Retrospective workshops and feeding back key themes and actions for improvementsContribute and consult with the development, continuous improvement and communication of relevant guidance for common change lifecycle templates and processes.Supports Programme-wide Agile adoption by coaching stakeholders and other non-agile teams on effective interactions with agile teamsFacilitate preparation and readiness for ART events – Assists the team in preparation for ART activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt.Guide the team in establishing normalised estimates and help the team understand how to effectively estimate Features and Capabilities.Ensure the programme finances are aligned monthly and for each of the programme increments.Ensure all programme reports focus on value and engage with the stakeholdersCapabilities and competencies:Previous experience as a PMO, Project Manager or other Project support role within an Agile delivery environment or acting as a Scrum Master.Expert at preparing and tracking change delivery reporting.Previous experience of providing support for programme resource management.Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project and PPM tools.Expert in use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Strong interpersonal skills including communication and stakeholder management.Excellent Influencing and Negotiation skills and the ability to utilise these across all levels within an organisation and with external vendors and stakeholders.Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.P3O Foundation or Practitioner.SAFe for Teams, PRINCE2 Agile Foundation or other similar Agile methodology qualification.SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or other equivalent qualification.Experience using PowerBI or other Data Analytics/visualisation tools.Experience of Utilities or other regulated industry.Experience working in a multi-vendor delivery modelElexon career path/ Potential next role(s):PMO Manager25 days annual holiday + Bank HolidaysDiscretionary annual incentive schemeLife assurancePensionPrivate medical (Bupa)At Elexon, our employee wellbeing is particularly important to us, which is why we are proud to provide:Hybrid working – 2 days per week at our London officeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEye care voucher schemeSubsidised gym membershipCycle to Work SchemeBuying and selling holiday schemeCSR daysSeason ticket loanWe believe a diverse and inclusive culture allows innovation and creativity to flourish.
