Parts Manager

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting a Parts Manager for our client based in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of spare parts procurement, stock management, distribution, customer support, pricing, and team development, ensuring customers receive a first-class service while supporting the continued growth of the aftermarket division. Key Responsibilities Manage the procurement and supply of spare parts from approved suppliers. Maintain optimal stock levels to support customer demand and service requirements. Monitor inventory performance and implement strategies to minimise stock shortages and excess inventory. Identify and manage obsolete stock while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Deliver a high level of customer support and technical assistance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service and repeat business. Drive parts sales growth through proactive account management and customer engagement. Handle customer enquiries, quotations, returns, and order-related issues efficiently. Oversee the distribution and delivery of spare parts to customers. Ensure efficient logistics processes are in place to support service levels and customer expectations. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues and improve performance. Lead, motivate, and develop the Parts team.
