Operations and Facilities Manager

Help create a place where people feel welcome. At Likewise, we believe that places matter. Every day our Community Hub is used by clients, community members, volunteers, students, partners and staff. People come here for support, community activities, therapy, learning, work, a cup of tea or simply to spend time with others. The way the Hub feels and functions has a real impact on people''s experience. We''re looking for someone to take ownership of the spaces, systems and practical coordination that help everything work well. This role combines facilities, operations, coordination and community in a way that''s quite unusual. You''ll look after the day-to-day running of our building, support the wider organisation, coordinate room hire, oversee health and safety, improve systems and help create an environment where people feel welcome and colleagues have what they need to do their best work. You''ll probably enjoy this role if you like creating order, improving how things work and taking ownership. You''re someone who notices what needs attention, whether that''s a space, a process or a practical problem, and enjoys sorting it out.
