Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their Manchester operation with an experienced ocean freight professional who can confidently manage shipments from start to finish.You will take ownership of a varied portfolio of ocean import, export and cross-trade shipments, working closely with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents and internal teams to ensure freight moves efficiently, compliantly and on schedule.The RoleYou will be responsible for:Managing ocean import, export and cross-trade shipments from start to finishHandling both FCL and LCL movementsBooking freight with shipping lines and overseas partnersPreparing and checking shipping documentationCompleting customs clearances where requiredLiaising with customers, shipping lines, hauliers and overseas agentsProviding quotations and following up on commercial opportunitiesTracking shipments and providing proactive customer updatesCompleting costing, invoicing and maintaining accurate shipment recordsBuilding strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for account growthResolving ..... full job details .....
