Nutrition Team Administrator Barts Health NHS Trust

We are seeking a motivated individual to join the Nutrition team within Gastroenterology. This post is ideally suited to those who are proactive in their approach to their work and able to work both alone and as part of a team. The post holder will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and must be able to communicate clearly.

The post holder will be an accessible, patient-focused and helpful point of contact.

Key tasks include:

Being the first point of contact for service users, including patients.Maintaining clinical databases.Ensuring patient records are updated accurately and in a timely manner.Providing general office support to the nutrition team based at the Royal London Hospital, although cross-site cover may be required on occasion.Ensuring accurate data entry on ad hoc visits and telephone calls from patients.Ensuring timely uploading of the information for budget purposes.Maintaining clinical databases on Excel spreadsheets.Ordering of stationary supplies required by the team.Updating CRS with relevant patient reports.Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, and one of Britain’s leading healthcare providers.
