The focus is on operational excellence, safety, and long-term career opportunities within a critical industrial environment.Your new roleAs a Mechanical Shift Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Mobile Plant equipment within a busy port environment. Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, you will carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, availability, and safe operation.You will work in accordance with safe systems of work at all times, actively promoting a strong safety culture across all activities. The role involves close collaboration with Engineering Shift Managers and Lead Engineers, ensuring effective communication around breakdowns, repairs, and requirements for parts and materials.A key aspect of the role is responding to equipment breakdowns during operation, carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs efficiently and safely to minimise downtime.
