The organisation continues to invest heavily in infrastructure, crane technology, and sustainable operations, creating a stable and forward-thinking environment where safety, reliability, and engineering excellence are core priorities.Your new roleAs a Mechanical Day Technician, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance on gantry crane equipment within a busy container handling environment. This is a days-based role, focused on ensuring the ongoing reliability, availability, and safe performance of critical lifting and handling assets.You will carry out maintenance activities in line with safe systems of work, actively contributing to a strong safety culture across all operations. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will communicate equipment condition, breakdowns, and parts or materials requirements in a timely and accurate manner.The role includes responding to operational breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs efficiently and safely to minimise downtime.
