MandE Engineer (Gas and Water) - Essex - Council - £450 per day

I''m working with a Client who is looking to bring in an Interim MandE Engineer (Gas and Water) for a Council in Essex on a 12-month contract paying 450 per day. The position will involve supporting gas, heating, hot water and water hygiene compliance across the council''s housing stock, including: Carrying out pre and post inspections, site surveys and quality checks Monitoring contractor performance, KPIs and completed works Supporting the supervision of two inspectors Providing technical guidance and escalating compliance risks where necessary Reviewing specifications, technical documents and contractor submissions Ensuring works are delivered in line with gas safety, water hygiene, health and safety and contractual requirements To be considered, you''ll need: ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1 or CKR1) Experience within gas and water compliance, ideally in social housing or the public sector A strong background in contractor management, inspections and compliance reporting Knowledge of Gas Safety Regulations, CDM 2015 and contractor compliance standards Gas Safe registration (CSCS would be advantageous) A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle The client is looking to move quickly and is keen to speak with suitable candidates as soon as possible. ..... full job details .....
