We''re working with a well-established and growing organisation that is looking to add a talented Group Management Accountant to its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting involved in the detail of management accounting whilst also taking on responsibility for supporting and developing junior team members. You''ll work closely with the Finance Manager and play a key role in improving processes, enhancing reporting, and helping the finance function operate as efficiently as possible. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week in the Chester office. During the initial probation period, the successful candidate will be expected to spend more time in the office to support onboarding and team integration. What You''ll Be Doing As Group Management Accountant, you''ll be involved in a broad range of responsibilities, including: Producing monthly management accounts ready for review Preparing balance sheet reconciliations Posting journals, accruals and prepayments Managing fixed asset accounting and maintaining the asset register Performing financial analysis and reporting on business performance Supporting month-end processes and reporting deadlines Preparing VAT returns Assisting with payment ..... full job details .....
