This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified assistant accountant/ accountant who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and working closely with clients. You will join a supportive business offering ACCA or CIMA study support and genuine opportunities for professional progression. The Role You will take ownership of accounting and reconciliation work across a varied portfolio of clients, with a particular focus on charities and not-for-profit organisations. You will critically review financial information, investigate discrepancies and take incomplete or unreconciled records through to an accurate trial balance. You will also support the preparation of management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial commentary, developing towards full ownership of management accounts for selected clients. Key Responsibilities Review and maintain accounting records for charities, limited companies and sole traders. Take client records through to an accurate and fully reconciled trial balance. Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations. Review bookkeeping completed by clients or junior colleagues, correcting errors where required.
