Management Accountant

Hays Senior Finance are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a large and growing organisation based in Swansea. Operating within a multi-site environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a purpose-led business and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and commercial support across the organisation.Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will take ownership of month-end reporting and management accounts whilst providing valuable financial insight to operational stakeholders. This is a varied role that combines core management accounting responsibilities with budgeting, forecasting, business partnering and continuous improvement initiatives.This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to join an organisation that invests in its people, offers hybrid working and provides genuine opportunities for career development.Key Responsibilities:Manage the month-end process and produce accurate, timely management accounts.Prepare and review profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and supporting management information.Monitor financial performance and provide detailed variance analysis and commentary.Manage accruals, prepayments, payroll recharges and holiday pay accruals.Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including payroll, PAYE and pension controls.Ensure intercompany balances are reconciled across the wider group.Maintain fixed asset registers, including ..... full job details .....
