Management Accountant

Management Accountant Part time or flexible hours! Seeking to recruit a Financial Controller/Management Accountant with a strong manufacturing background to join a small, hands-on team. You will need to understand manufacturing and really connect the numbers to what is actually happening on the shop floor. Key part of the role is manufacturing costings and financial control, stock, inventory and material usage, Bills of Materials (BOMs), purchasing, supplier costs and accounts, management reporting and reconciliations as well as identifying discrepancies, efficiencies and cost savings. You will need previous manufacturing finance experience, a strong understanding of stock, BOMs, yield and production costs, experience with purchasing and supplier management as well as excellent Excel and systems skills It s part time, around three days a week, the hours can be split over three days, or split over four or five. Work around your childcare commitments, or perhaps you don t want to work 5 days a week. The role initially will be office based, but then hybrid working will be available.
